SUMMARY:HILAS 2022 — High-Intensity Lasers and High-Field Phenomena
DESCRIPTION:Budapest\, Hungary\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe High-intensity Lasers and High-field Phenomena (HILAS) meeting aims to assemble a multidisciplinary community to present and exchange novel ideas and breakthrough achievements relating to the physics and technology of high field sources\, and high-intensity laser-matter interaction. The conference covers both theoretical and experimental aspects of strong-field phenomena. The latest research results in terawatt/petawatt lasers\, amplification of few-cycle pulses\, laser fusion technologies\, EUV and X-ray sources based on lasers\, high-intensity sources from the THz up to the X-ray spectral range\, plasmas in ultrahigh fields\, advances in attosecond science and relativistic nonlinear phenomena are among the topics to be discussed.

DESCRIPTION:L’atelier “Etudes de la transition du solide au plasma\, et applications”\, en collaboration avec le GDR ACO-Chocolas\, est ciblé autour de l’interaction laser solide (diélectrique et métal) et des transformations de la matière induites. Un dénominateur commun est la transition de l’état solide vers l’état plasma. Les études qui y sont dédiées sont effectuées avec des expériences et la théorie/modélisation. Les régimes d’interaction vont du domaine fs au ns\, avec des intensités laser modérées. Les thèmes identifiés et les orateurs principaux confirmés sont les suivants: \n\nDynamique électronique en phase condensée induite par laser fs et/ou ps; génération d’harmoniques servant à sonder l’état de la matière\nRéponse macroscopique lors de la transition (hydrodynamique avec chocs\, transfert de chaleur\, etc)\nAblation et endommagement laser\, surface et volume des matériaux\, lien avec la structuration des matériaux\nTransition de phase du solide au plasma\, formation de plasma par pre-impulsion.
